My little family has now evolved to the point where we can all cuddle on the couch and watch TV together. It just sort of happened. And I love it. So this week, Harrington has been working late, and I needed to wrap up this day without drama. I got The Babes all ready for bed, we got under the extra warm fuzzy brown blanket and watched The Charlie Brown Christmas Special one night and Dr. Seuss’s original The Grinch Who Stole Christmas another night.

I know it was simple and nothing much to it. But there was also something so magical in that moment with my Babes. Maybe it’s a bit of nostalgia because I used to love watching those Christmas specials as a Babe myself. Maybe it’s the fun that we are all enjoying the same show (and thankful the Cars movie was on holiday hiatus). I’m not sure of the reason.

And it doesn’t matter.

Because I am just so happy we are happy all together.

And don’t worry about Harrington. He got his chance for a little family bonding this week. And this weekend, we both look forward to introducing The Christmas Story to Marie!

As for me, tonight I am going to snuggle myself and watch my all time favorite movie, It’s a Wonderful Life.

So anything giving you the warm, fuzzy Christmas feeling?

Have a great weekend!

Oh, I can't WAIT to watch It's a Wonderful Life this year! Can you believe I've only seen it all the way through ONCE? It's always just been on in the background and I never really paid attention. Blasphemy!

I got out my nativity scene today. I love it and it gives me warm Christmas feelings. So does all the gift making I've been doing
Merry Christmas.

Sarah watched The Grinch for the 1st time this year. She was mesmerized. She even figured out that he was going to be nice 1/2 way through the show!

She has watched it 7 times since then :-)
